A Little Girl

She doesn't even look like a baby anymore.  I am so happy, sad, happy, sad, happy, ... about it.  We love her so much!  She was like a loud, ear piercing, bright, fun little firecracker in the midst of all our Independence Day celebrations.  She doesn't yet know how lucky she is. To live in America, to have a loving family, 4 awesome big brothers, food to eat, a warm bed, ... a happy life.  But, I will make sure she knows, just like I make sure to let the boys know.  They need to know to be grateful, to be happy, to help other people, to have gratitude for those who have fought for our us and our country.  Oh yeah, she will know... but for now, she is just my baby.

We had such a fun 4th of July with family and friends, ... nothing like happy kids, plenty of food, good weather, no injuries, and no rushing.  And nothing like a 4-day celebration!  Here's to many many more years of fireworks on the street, smores, BBQing, hanging out in Park City and memory making!  I think we just might be in the best years of our life right now.  Eric and I have to keep reminding ourselves of this fact because it's busy, ... yep, so so busy, like you wanna pull your hair out kind of busy.  And it's loud and chaotic many days and you find yourself wishing the kids were older.  And most days I can't even think.  But, to have all our kids 12 and under. This is where it's at.  These are the days we will remember with the most fondness, I am sure of it.  And there is a reason why you raise em when your young.  Oh, I could go on and on with my rambling and free writing.  But, the bottom line is that:  I am so blessed!
